Convert File using VLC


Step 1: Open VLC Player and go to Media  Convert/Save. You will be taken to “Open Media” window


Step 2: In the “Open Media” window

  • Click on “+Add” button to browse and select the video file you need to convert. 
  • The “Convert/Save” button will be Highlighted. Click on the “Convert/Save” button to go to the next page.


Step 3: For the “Profile” option select “ video – WMV +WMA (ASF)”

  • Click “Browse” to select destination
  • Click “OK”
  • Click “Start” to convert the file
  • The saved file should play with windows media player.
