Configure Live streaming for IP Camera

Configure Hinovision Live Streaming Cameras 

for YouTube and Facebook Live Stream


Hinovision Live Streaming Cameras supports RTMP protocol. It provides all the hardware and software you need to achieve YouTube and Facebook Live stream in a single unit.


Once RTMP is configured on Hinovision Live Tracker 2 and YouTube/Facebook Control Panel, you will be able to live stream directly from the camera to your audience. This provides endless possibility for all kinds of uses.


RTMP configuration can be accessed through Web Interface.


Camera and equipment for the setup

Camera Model: Live Tracker 2 


Other requirements:

Ethernet cables

PoE injector/PoE switch or 12V power supply

Windows computer for setup

Internet with 8mbps or greater upload bandwidth


Physical connection

  1. If you plan to power the camera with 12V power supply, connect the camera’s RJ45 port to your router or switch with ethernet cable, and connect the power adapter to the camera
  2. If you plan to power the camera with PoE injector, connect the camera’s RJ45 port to the PoE port on the PoE injector, then connect the PoE injector’s data port to your router or switch with ethernet cable
  3. If you plan to power the camera with PoE switch, connect the camera’s RJ45 port to the PoE port on the PoE switch, then connect the switch to the router

Audio mic can be connected to the camera audio input 3.5mm audio jack.


Activate the camera

Camera default IP address: 192.168.1.64

Please make sure the windows computer you used for setup has its IP configured to the same segment as the camera listed above, you can change the computer IP settings under control panel, write down your existing settings before change



Connect the computer to the same network as the camera, access the camera IP with Microsoft Internet Explorer (not Microsoft Edge)

Create password per the rules listed below


Setup the security questions and email address



Click to download and install the plugin required 




Camera Setup

  1. Camera IP configuration

Set Camera IP address under configuration, network, basic settings, TCP/IP

Please make sure the IP you plan to use is not occupied by another device



  1. Video setup

You can find video configuration under Configuration, video/audio, video

Parameters listed below is recommended for the live cast



You can find the audio settings on the next tab, again parameters listed below is recommended



Camera Operation

  1. PTZ

Control lens direction and zoom with PTZ menu on the right



  1. Preset

Preset allows you to quickly move the lens between multiple pre-defined position

Create Preset position by aim the lens toward the desired position and click on the gear icon



Move to the preset position by click on the call button



  1. Capture picture/ record video

Click on the camera icon to take a picture, click on the recorder icon to start recording a video, click on the recorder icon again to stop recording

Note: You need to run Internet Explorer under administrator mode to capture picture or record video



  1. Rotate image

If your camera is positioned up-side down, you can mirror the image to get the right perspective

You can find the setting under configuration, image, display settings, video adjustment, select the mirror option to center and the image will rotate 180 degrees.




Setup for YouTube

Login your YouTube account, click on the camera icon to create a video or post , then click Go live



Click on New Stream



Fill in the required information and click on create stream



Copy Stream URL and Stream Key into clip board, divide them with /, as showed below





Copy the RTMP url with key in to the camera RTMP server address, you can find it under configuration, network, advance settings, RTMP, past the URL with key and click on saves



Click on Go Live to start the stream




Setup for Facebook

Log into your Facebook page, click on the Live button



Click on connect and copy Server URL and Stream Key, paste them into clipboard and divide them with /




Copy the RTMP url with key in to the camera RTMP server address, you can find it under configuration, network, advance settings, RTMP, past the URL with key and click on saves



Click on Go Live to start the stream
