How to Configure Hinovision LiveTracker2 

for YouTube Live Stream?

Hinovision LiveTracker2 supports RTMP protocol. It provides all the hardware and software you need to achieve YouTube Live stream in a single unit.

Once RTMP is configured on Hinovision LiveTracker2 and YouTube Control Panel, you will be able to live stream directly from LiveTracker2 to YouTube. This provides endless possibility for all kinds of uses.

LiveTracker2 RTMP configuration can be accessed through Web Interface.

Test Environment 

NVR Model: LiveTracker 2

NVR Firmware: V5.3.0 build 160809

1. Login to your Youtube account, Click Creator Studio on the top right
   

2. Click on Live Streaming, then Stream now
   

3. On the bottom of this page, you will find encoder setup, Click on Reveal
   

4. Copy both Server URL and Stream name/key to notepad and arrange the in the following format
   

[Server URL]/[Stream name/key]

e.g.: rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2/tu8q-hrkv-1kr5-xxxx

5. Login your LiveTracker2 web interface
   

6. Click on Configuration, then Advanced Configuration, Network and click RTMP tab on the top
   

7. Check the Enable box and enter the address you saved in notepad, click Save
   

8. After you click Save, you will see the YouTube saying STARTING
   

9. Wait for a few seconds for YouTube to buffer, You are now Live!
