Overview

The PoE-SWR608G-SOLAR is a web-managed industrial PoE switch with eight Gigabit PoE/PoE+ ports and two 2.5 Gbps SFP slots. It supports 8–57 VDC input with a built-in voltage booster for solar power systems. Features include static routing, VLAN, advanced QoS, ACL security, and sub-50 ms ring self healing for reliable, high-performance networking.

Outstanding Features

  • SOLAR PoE SWITCH: Support DC 8~57V voltage input, featuring built-in voltage booster, works directly with DC 12V or DC 24V solar battery systems, and outputs standard 48V PoE for regular PoE cameras.
  • 10 FULL GIGABIT PORTS: 2x 2.5G SFP ports, 6x IEEE802.3af/at PoE Ports and 2x 45W High PoE+ Ports.
  • 45W HIGH PoE+ OUTPUT: Optimized for big PTZ cameras, such as multiple-lens PTZ cameras, high speed dome cameras, cameras with big white LED light.
  • REMOTELY CLOUD MANAGED: via WEB GUI or RemoteMonit CLOUD. It supports VLAN, QOS and PoE port management, including PoE On/Off control, Power budget, priority, etc.
  • TOTAL PoE BUDGET: 180W (DC24V/48V input) or 70W (DC12V input).
  • REDUNDANT POWER INPUT: Support 2 channel DC8~57V independent power inputs, ensure high reliability networking system.
  • INDUSTRIAL DESIGN: Support DIN rail mount and Wall mount. Wide working temperature (-20°C ~ 60 °C or -4°F~140 °F) and 4KV surge protection.

Configuration

  1. Connect the POE-SWR608G-SOLAR to a power source, and use an RJ45 cable to connect it to your computer.
  2. Open your network connections and modify the settings for the network interface corresponding to the POE-SWR608G-SOLAR. Set the IP configuration to manual and assign the IP address to '192.168.2.2'.
  3. Open your browser and navigate to the default IP address of the POE-SWR608G-SOLAR, "192.168.2.1", and log in with the default username "admin" and password "admin".
  4. On the sidebar, select "System Settings" - "IP Settings". Set "Auto Obtain IP" to "Enable" and click "Apply" to apply the settings.
  5. Connect the POE-SWR608G-SOLAR to the router/gateway with RJ45 cable. Consult your network administrator or go to the router's configuration page to obtain the new IP address of the POE-SWR608G-SOLAR.
  6. Save all your settings in the top right corner of the web page.
